Apple, the global leader in innovation is working on new techniques to charge apple devices without a cable. Using radio frequency signals like Wi-Fi, a patent is also filed by Apple for wireless charging of iPads and iPhones.

The new method proposed by Apple is to charge devices by the signals which are usually used for data transmission without a physical cable connection. To charge a device, the signals are directed to them in a form of a beam. Previously in 2010, Apple also filed a patent to charge iMac wireless from a certain distance.

Apple is now working with partners to develop the same technology for mobile phones and planning to launch it by late 2017 with their tenth generation iPhone. Apple won’t introduce the inductive wireless charging which is present in Apple watch and Samsung’s Galaxy S8.

There are many rumors about the features of next model iPhone which is to be released that it would be having a glass case and inductive charging station.
