For over a year now, WhatsApp has been hinting they would install a “Recall feature.” This feature would enable people to delete messages once sent. The message would be deleted not just from the sender’s phone, but also from the other receiver’s phone.

The WhatsApp Recall feature works in two ways: one, you can delete the message from your phone and second, the message can be deleted from the receiver’s phone as well. However, the update will let users delete the message only seven minutes after being sent! Once the seven minutes have passed, it is impossible to delete the message for everyone.

Once the message is deleted from your end, the message will be replaced with “This message was deleted.” The original message officially disappears from your chat list after that as well as from the receiver’s phone. The feature has been rolled out globally. However, only a few countries have received the update so far. It seems the rollout is a little slow, as WhatsApp is still testing this latest feature out.

There are a few features that do not work with Recall. One, you cannot delete messages that are in quotes. Second, you cannot delete messages that are sent as broadcasts. Third, one does not have to worry about the other person updating their phone because once the message is deleted, it remains deleted from the receiver’s phone as well.

The past year has been eventful for WhatsApp with a host of extremely exciting features introduced like group video calls and Live Location. If you have already received the feature update, let us know what you think in the comments feature below.

PhonePe’s PINCODE Launches 10-Minute Medicine Delivery in Cities

Published

PhonePe

PhonePe’s PINCODE app has launched a 24×7 online medicine delivery service in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Pune, promising delivery of both prescription and over-the-counter medicines within 10 minutes from nearby local medical shops. Unlike conventional e-pharmacies that use dark stores, PINCODE partners exclusively with neighborhood pharmacies, enabling faster deliveries and supporting local businesses in the digital economy.

Customers without prescriptions can select a “no prescription” option when ordering; a qualified doctor then provides a free teleconsultation and issues a digital prescription compliant with telemedicine guidelines, ensuring seamless access to medicines. The app offers competitive pricing by passing discounts from local pharmacies directly to customers and charges no delivery fees.

PINCODE’s hyperlocal model enhances healthcare accessibility and convenience while empowering local pharmacies, helping them remain integral to their communities and stimulating local economic growth. Launched in 2023, the app focuses on quick commerce with an emphasis on speed, reliability, and supporting local sellers.

In summary, PhonePe’s PINCODE app is transforming medicine delivery in major Indian cities by combining ultra-fast 10-minute delivery, free doctor consultations, and a hyperlocal sourcing model that benefits both consumers and neighborhood pharmacies.
