After weeks of deliberation and waiting the Global Entrepreneurship Summit is finally happening at the Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC) in Hyderabad. Highlighting the theme Women First, Prosperity for All, Ivanka Trump along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about the various achievements of women and Indians all over the world.

Ivanka Trump, the daughter of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, started the conference along with PM Modi started the conference along with an indigenous robot from Bengaluru, named Mitra.

 

Speaking about women entrepreneurs, Ivanka Trump said, “Only when women are empowered to thrive; will our families, our economies and our societies (will) reach their fullest potential.” Ms. Trump addressed the opening plenary of the 2017 GES highlighting the various achievements India has made over the years. Especially, the initiatives taken up by the Indian Government to help aspiring entrepreneurs.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke about the various benefits startups have been able to avail under the Startup India Initiative and the heights Indian entrepreneurs have scaled because of that.

GES 2017 presents a unique opportunity to connect and establish meaningful partnerships among entrepreneurs, investors and ecosystem supporters. The summit also aims at strengthening the relationship between the United States of America and India.
