Watch Video: Uber Launches Uber Central For Your Clients And Business
The world’s largest ride-sharing app Uber has recently launched a new initiative “Uber Central” exclusively for business platforms. With Uber Central, organizations can provide on-demand transportation for their clients, customers, and guests on a large scale.
Customers who opt for this Uber Central need not have an Uber account, the organization handles everything. Uber Central is their first global one too many ride product, which caters to firms varying from large scale organizations to small businesses. It manages multiple rides all at the same time and from the same dashboard without customers needing the Uber app.
The app handles the estimated ride cost and each ride gets charged to the main business account so the riders need not get messed up logistics. For passengers who do not have the Uber app on their smartphone, Uber sends an SMS with the driver’s name and the other details related to the ride.
Uber Central was deemed to be free, but some sources report Uber is charging a separate fee to activate the service within its business platform.
