Well, when it comes to LinkedIn, it is better not to mess up with the profile photographs we upload. Because if LinkedIn doesn’t like our profile picture, it removes our photograph and when it removes it thrice, we can never ever upload a photo to our profile again.

I personally think Linked doesn’t strike away many of those awful photos until they are much too cheesy, unprofessional and the selflessly taken selfies. Well, this is just a sweet reminder for those 40 million students and also those recently graduated lurking on LinkedIn. Here, we suggest what to avoid while taking pictures for LinkedIn.

1) A selfie will be a game spoiler

Yes, enthusiastically taken selfies don’t match as profile pictures here on LinkedIn. They are way more casual for this page. These selfies may make you look like an amateur. So, LinkedIn is a #wrongplatform for selfies.

2) A kitty can be in your life but not in the pic

Profile pictures with pets will be removed with ease. Until and unless you are a vet doctor, do not pose with your pets. It is your professional page and not of your pet’s. You are on LinkedIn to introduce yourselves, not your kittens.

3) Company logos

Your photo will be removed when your picture includes company logos. This doesn’t mean you should not reveal where you work. You have space there inside to describe this, but not on the profile pictures.

4) Words and phrases is a big NO

There are many other social media websites to yell and tell out what you are feeling. What you feel like at this present moment should not come up in the profile picture. This can be a major reason for striking out your photo.

5) The blurry ones are thrown out first

People should not adjust their spectacles to view your photo. Get used to Photoshop’s ‘Sharpening Tool’ to remove the blurriness. If you find your picture is pixelated to fix, use a better, clearer pic. This is pretty basic stuff.
