The Founder of Facebook, Mark shared a glimpse of this when he visited the Oculus lab. He was using the prototype motion tracking gloves that might launch along with the Oculus Rift VR Headset in the future.

He described saying: “Wearing these gloves, one can draw, type on the virtual keyboard, and also shoot webs like SpiderMan. That is what I am doing here.”

The team of Oculus is led by Micheal Abrash, are heading towards building their second anechoic chamber to perform sound experiments. This is deemed to be one of the quietest places in the world, so quiet that one can hear their own heart beat.

These prototype gloves rely on an array of trackers focused on the area where one moves his hands covered with those gloves.

The Oculus team focuses on advanced optics, mixed reality, eye tracking and new ways to map human bodies.

He reveals his ultimate goals such as to make glasses small enough to take anywhere, software that lets you experience anything and technology that interacts with the virtual world just like one does with the physical one.
