3 E Commerce Sites To Watch Out For This Year

The world is changing. The internet is growing and new ideas are constantly evolving. Gone are the days when brick and mortar companies were the rage. Online shopping is where the world of startups are going. If you are just launching your new business, then we have exactly what you need. When I started doing my research on this subject, I realised context was a key factor. There are over a hundred  e commerce platforms out there, promising nothing short of the best. While not all work for your brand, I have tried to narrow down the list to 3 platforms which could just do the trick. Without further ado, here is the list.

1. Shopify

Shopify, a Canadian based e commerce platform, was founded in the year 2004. The company always keeps in pace with evolving trends and technologies. Having broken the traditional barriers of online marketing, Shopify has definitely earned its place at the top of this list!

2. Magento

Launched about 4 years after Shopify in March 2008, Magento works slightly differently as compared to Shopify. What makes this different, you ask? Unlike Shopify, Magento is an open source platform. Not only does it provide end to end customer support, Magento is a website builder as well. This platform is known for building websites like Burger King, Huawei, Pepe Jeans and Liverpool F.C.

3.  YoKart

While we have platforms like Magento and Shopify, YoKart is in a different league altogether. This particular website works with the big wigs in the form of Amazon, EBay and Etsy. YoKart, with its latest upgrade (YoKart V8) now packs an even bigger punch. Its multilingual and multi currency features allow store owners to expand their reach not just at a regional level, but on a global level as well.

With the world evolving, it is time for startups to grow, expand and create in a new direction. If you think we missed out on any particular platform, comment and let us know!
