Shocking: Uber Reveals What Indian Passengers Forgot In Cabs, Finds A Way For Forgetful Customers!

If you are a frequent cab rider, then it is not surprising that you might also have forgotten your things in the car. Major car aggregator Uber took a look at the frequency at those lost items which were reported as missing.

And most surprisingly, Uber reported that Indians are most likely to forget their valuables in the car and the country’s IT capital Bengaluru tops the ‘most forgetful city’ list followed by New Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.

Uber also reports that people are mostly forgetful on Friday, Saturday and Sundays in India. To have a clear idea about this, Uber created a Lost & Found index to see what exactly people leave behind in their cabs. And it was a bit surprising to know this.

Uber found that phones and rings are most common and other items include chargers, potted plants, bulletproof jackets, expensive watches, grocery bags, liquor bottles, cricket bats and also wooden planks.

It was quite surprising to learn that a passenger left a cheque worth Rs.15 lakhs and the weirdest things left in the car were puppies and cabbages.

Here is how you report your lost items to Uber:   

Click the Uber app >> tap on ‘Your Trips’ >> Select the trip where you have lost something >> Tap on ‘I lost an item’ >> Tap on ‘Contact my driver about a lost item’ >> Enter your contact number >> Your phone rings and connects directly to the driver’s number >> Speak to the driver and meet him at your convenience >> Get back your lost item.
