The most successful startups this year are the ones who were able to solve all the real life problems with supreme ease and perfection. Despite global venture funding being at such an all time low, the time is still ripe for new ideas to begin and grow. Seeing your idea grow into a product is a wonderful thing. It changes you as a person. Prepares you for a new beginning and makes you look at life with a pair of fresh new eyes. Definitely worth the new beginning!
2. The corporate world may really not be it for you
Have you been working at the same place for the last god knows how months longs and it really is not doing anything for you anymore, then it’s time to jump ship. Start thinking about what you want from life and if it is a startup, then that is where your life is headed toward.
3. Avoid the no sayers.
The startup and entrepreneurship life is NOT for everyone. Ignore them if you have to, but make sure you have only those you truly trust around you. There are some people who do not directly say no. They take the roundabout route, giving you false hopes and promises, but indirectly pull you down. If you really want to succeed with your idea, then STAY away from them!
Ideas come and go. For instance, I have several to just bump off people I don’t want to see every day. However, those are just ideas at the end of the day. Quitting my corporate job and working at a startup was perhaps the best thing I could do, considering the fact that I get ideas of what NOT to do later on in life!
