Superheroes don’t just save the world, they inspire everyone else to step up to the plate. These women and men in tights, wearing capes and iron suits take immense responsibilities on their capable shoulders to save the day, rescue the princess, or prince, and ride off into the sunset leaving clouds of smoke behind them. This is why every startup needs their own set of superheroes to motivate the masses, stand up for the people and lead the company into the sunset!

To build your very own league of X-Men here are the archetype superhero you should recruit for your startup!

1. Captain America
Everyone needs a rule abiding leader who will pull a helicopter back to the helipad with sheer muscle strength and go to the ends of Earth to redeem a long lost friend. The Captain America of the team is the stable, calm headed leader who will always put the country i.e., your company first and defend it with all his or her might.
BookMyShow founder Ashish Hemrajani is the perfect Captain America who brought a nearly dying startup back to life.

2. Professor X
A team is incomplete without a mastermind. They are the strategist who plans so far ahead in the future while keeping an eye out for any and all possible consequences, curve balls and bullets. They have a backup plan in place and have already started training their replacements. The mastermind of the team is the spark that lights the fire.
The far sighted Steve Jobs is the perfect example of a modern day Professor X

3. Wonder Woman
A no nonsense, honest woman who won’t stand down in the face of adversity, a Wonder Woman is a must have for every startup. She is the iconic feminist who fights for equality and is not afraid of getting her hands dirty. She’s the person you go to for advice and help. She is not just strong and independent but a driving force motivating everyone around her to step up the pace.
In the startup ecosystem, many powerful women have emerged to take a stand for the female population around the world. Facebook’s COO Sheryl Sandberg and ShopClues’ Radhika Aggarwal fit the role of the Wonder Woman to a ‘t.’

4. Iron Man
“Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk,” Tony Stark (IronMan.)
He is the genius, slightly arrogant, philanthropist behind a suit that can upgrade your everyday computer into a weapon of mass destruction. The Tony Stark of the team is the man who can code, break through firewalls, create magic with 0 and 1, supply the comic relief and take nukes to outer space. The tech genius is responsible for the working of the startup’s website, app platforms, computers and backup drives. They handle the technical aspects of the creation and development of a company.
No one apart from Elon Musk will be a better example for the mighty IronMan of the Marvel Universe.

5. The Hulk
You have the leader, the mastermind, the feminist, and the tech guru. The only other thing required to complete your super league is a secret weapon. Who better that the Hulk who in the blink of an eye can obliviate the competition and carry the team forward. While Bruce Banner’s secret is that he is always angry, the secret of the Hulk of the company is that they are able to handle any and all work thrown their way. They can play the roles of the supporting actors and the protagonist in equally convincing ways because that is their superpower. You don’t want to cross them because nothing can stop them from achieving their goals.
Azim Premji is definitely the unstoppable Hulk for Wipro.

6. Nick Fury
These people are isolated, unbalanced, but together they can become something more.” Nick Fury, Marvel Universe.
Nick Fury is the man behind the plan. He is the owner of the startup who brings the whole team together because he knows that together they can create something wonderful that will change the world. He gets what needs to be done by any means possible. He’s the man who has a person for everything and knows all the secrets. He is the wizard behind the curtain.
If you’re looking for an example for Nick Fury, look no further. Every entrepreneur, who builds a team from scratch because he knows together they can build their dream, is Nick Fury.
