They feed us. They keep us warm. They keep us safe and they drive us around in comfort. Yes. These are things the people do to make our life extremely easy. These are our cooks, maids, drivers and security guards. We have depended on these people to make our lives easier and simpler.

However, we have been so caught up in our lives that we tend to take their work for granted, without ever really thinking about how they feel. It is festivals like Diwali that make us realize the importance of people like these in our lives.

The India based ecommerce website Paytm decided to recognize these people in our lives this Diwali. They spoke to people who have worked hard for us, putting aside their own needs and interests. A normal conversation turned into something extremely heartwarming, leaving a smile on the face of everyone who watched the video.

Paytm is a Delhi based online electronic and ecommerce brand that facilitates online payments. Paytm was also one of the first Indian ecommerce companies to receive funding from the China based ecommerce company, Alibaba.

On a visit to China, Vijay Shekhar Sharma noticed vegetable vendors making online payments. This impressed him so much that he came back and founded the Paytm wallet, which quickly became one of the biggest mobile payment services with over 150 million wallets and 75 million Android based app downloads as of November 2016.
