Sundar Pichai’s Salary Will Surely Leave You In Shock!

The CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai received humongous salary last year. He had received an amount of $650,000 last year which is slightly low than what he got in 2015 ($652,500).

India-born Sundar received nearly $200 million in compensation (most of it was stock, not salary) in 2016 almost double the amount he got in 2015. This compensation was granted to him as a token of appreciation as he launched numerous successful products.

Pichai was a long time employee of Google until he was named as the CEO of the company during the company’s reorganization in 2015.

Google’s Co-founder and ex-CEO Larry Page, shifted his focus on growing new businesses under the ‘Alphabet’ umbrella.

In 2106, Google had launched a set of successful products like new smartphones, a router, a virtual reality headset, and also a voice controlled smart speaker under the wise supervision of Pichai.
