Eureka! 2017 Road To Enterprise!
Asia’s largest Business Model Competition Eureka, is back! Accredited independently by CNN and Thomson Reuters, Eureka is designed to emulate the process of growth of an idea towards a full fledged startup. With over 8000 entries per year, Eureka provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to win prizes worth Rs. 5 million and build networks in the Indian startup ecosystem and in Silicon Valley.
First launched in 1999, Eureka provides a platform for potential ideas and early stage startups to evaluate their plan and aims to bridge the gap between ideas and the realization of an enterprise. Eureka Business and Eureka Social are the two tracks used to help the vision of promoting both business and social innovation companies. Eureka Business is aimed at helping ideas develop into businesses that have the potential to revolutionize the world. On the other hand, Eureka Social encourages ideas and business models which cater to people at the bottom of the pyramid and work for a greener tomorrow.
Hosted by IIT Bombay’s eCell, the winners of Eureka 2017 Business Model Competition will be able to directly participate in the Wharton India Startup Challenge. The top 80 semi finalists will also get access to a Startup Course from the top business school “Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires” or INSEAD.
