Currently, the app allows users to book tables in a restaurant in 8 cities in India and in Dubai. This investment will make cricketer Yuvraj Singh the brand ambassador for the app. With about 53,000 restaurants listed, on the platform, EazyDiner claims to have 15 Lakh subscribers every month.
EazyDiner was founded in 2015 by Vir Sanghvi and names hoteliers like Sue Reitz, Rohit Dasgupta, Sachin Pabreja, Shruti Kaul, Ruchika Dhamija and Manish Kutula as its founders. In August 2015, EazyDiner raised $3 million in a funding round led by Saama Capital and their existing investors DSG Consumer Partners.
The app allows users to book tables in some of the standalone restaurants that are always full. They also offer an EazyDeal with every table booking in the form of a free glass of wine or a popular dessert from restaurants including those in 5 star hotels.
