Google Annual I/O Conference 2017

Google is all set to kick off its annual developer’s I/O conference today. This 3-day affair is filled with keynote presentations, developer workshops, and product announcements. The conference which is set to take place between 17th May and 19th May will be held at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.

Last year, Google announced its artificially intelligent speaker – Google Home and discussed a number of improvements to the Android Software. This year fans can expect the next operation system Android O, to be unveiled, specifically the revamped notification system along with better battery life management. Developers also speculate this year’s conference will likely feature some news about Chrome OS and is the ability to run an increasing number of Apps.

While Google Senior Vice President of Hardware Rick Osterloh has already stated that there will be Google Pixel 2, it is highly unlikely to be launched during this conference. People are also expecting news regarding Google Auto, Google Duo and Allo, Daydream, VR, Project Tango Android IoT, Android Pay and machine learning with Google Brain.
